AAfter what seemed to be an electoral process marred with serious security and irregularities, the European Union Election Observation Mission (EU EOM) has said there was a need for serious reforms in Nigeria.
Chief observer , Maria Arena stated this during a press meeting in Abuja.
She further stressed that the reforms were needed as a result of systemic failings and electoral security problems over the election period.
She stressed that the insecurities what was caused the low turnout in the subsequent elections.
She further stressed that the EU backs the call by civil systemic failings that there is an urgent need to restore faith in the electoral process.
