DR. JULIUS GARVEY, SON OF THE HERO MARCUS GARVEY SPEAKS ABOUT HIS FATHER’S LEGACY

In an interview with The Jemimahshow Dr. Julius Garvey’s Son Speaks about his father  Marcus Garvey (17 August 1887 – 10 June 1940) THE LEGEND OF THE BLACK RACE, was a Jamaican-born political activist who  founded the Negro World in New York City in 1918.

Dr. Garvey who is a surgeon and medical professor born August 16, 1933 in Kingston, Jamaica   talked about his father’s struggles, the story behind his imprisonment and accusation, Dr. Garvey  belief in Self-sufficiency and unity of all African people globally.

Lorraine Badley the  Commissioner of Delaware African and Caribbean affairs commission, was present at the interview and has shown her support and respect for Dr. Julius Garvey and the Legacy of Marcus Garvey. As an activist who advocated for the black, she believes in the Hero Marcus Garvey.
