Authorities have charged, George Sappah, 71, with with two counts each of aggravated sexual assault and child endangerment, as well as sexual assault by contact. His sister, Greta Sappah, 65, has been charged with child endangerment.
The charges allege that the brother, who lives in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, paid his sister to force two preteen kids (of unreported gender) to engage in sex with him on multiple occasions.
A judge on Thursday released Greta Sappah, 65, of Hope, NJ, with conditions pending further court action.
Warren County Prosecutor James L. Pfeiffer alleged that George paid Greta on several occasions to make two children under 13 years of age available to him for sex. Greta threatened the children with violence if they did not comply, Pfeiffer said. The case was investigated by both Pfeiffer’s office’s Special Victims Unit and New Jersey State Police.
George is due to make his first appearance in court on Aug. 7.
