A Salisbury Man Was Admitted In Hospital In Critical Condition After A Two-Vehicle Crash On Tuesday Morning Near Millsboro.

The Delaware State Police Said The Crash Happened On July 17 Around 8:10 A.M. At The Intersection Of Phillips Hill Road At Cross Keys Road Near Millsboro.

Police Said The 32-Year-Old Salisbury Man, Who Has Not Been Identified, Was On A Journey Eastbound On Cross Keys Road, Approaching The Intersection Of Phillips Hill Road With A Posted Stop Sign In A Jeep Cherokee.

A 2001 Chevrolet Silverado Driven By A 41-Year-Old Man From Millsboro, Who Also Was Not Identified, Was Traveling Northbound On Phillips Hill Road Approaching The Intersection Of Cross Keys Road.

The Driver Of The Cherokee Failed To Stop At The Stop Sign And Entered The Intersection Directly Into The Path Of The Silverado, Police Said, And The Front Of The Silverado Hit The Right Side Of The Cherokee.

The Salisbury Man Who Sustain Critical Injuries Was Taken To The Christiana Hospital While The Millsboro Man Was Transferred To The Nanticoke Memorial Hospital With Slight Injuries.

Both Men Were Not “Properly Restrained,” Police Said.

The Roads Were Closed For Approximately Three Hours While The Crash Was Examined And Cleared. No Charges Have Been Filed At This Time, Police Said.
